SCREENING MACHINE The present invention relates to a screening machine with at least two solids outlets.
Screening machines with solids outlets with circular or round cross-section are known from the prior art. Such a design appears mandatory if flexible hose elements for connecting subsequent equipment or pipelines are to be connected to the solids outlet. Hose elements or pipes can only be reliably connected to a solids outlet via a round flange or collar. Other types of connection, e.g. Rectangular or polygonal cross-sections have considerable disadvantages in terms of mechanical properties such as precise connection fit, simple fixing of the connection, mechanical stability and dustproofness.
On the other hand, the solids outlet of screening machines, depending on the mechanical nature of the sieved particles, in particular the sieve particle hardness and the mass of the sieved particles, shows considerable wear. Since the solids flow of the sieved particles is constricted in a collecting shaft after passing the discharge edge of the screening machine on the way to the solids outlet, the particle speed and thus the momentum and kinetic energy of the solid particles increase significantly. The particle stream then hits the inner walls of a solid outlet that bends downward at high speed and with a change in momentum, the inner walls being exposed to a correspondingly high level of wear and tear due to the impinging solid stream.
It would therefore be desirable to be able to attach additional wear protection elements on the inside of the solids outlet, which are not only advantageous but also necessary for some screen products. In the case of mineral screen products in particular, only ceramic or mineral plates can be considered due to the hardness requirements. Due to the shape of the solids outlets, which have a circular cross section in the prior art, these wear protection elements can only be provided in the form of a tube. Since pipes can preferably only be exchanged as one-piece pipe elements and the production of pipes or pipe segments, especially if these consist of hard metal or ceramic, is very complex and cost-intensive, the use of circular wear protection elements is disadvantageous.
The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a solids outlet for screening machines with a round connection device, wherein inexpensive and mass-produced wear protection elements are used.
This object is achieved by the screening machine with the features according to protection claim 1.
The screening machine according to the invention has at least one solids outlet with a circular or round connection device, which has a polygonal cross section at least on the inside. This solution, which is both technically simple and surprising, provides a solids outlet with a round connection device, but at the same time it can be attached to the inside of plane-level wear protection plates, which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art and thus leads to significantly improved wear protection of a solids outlet of screening machines.
[0008] Advantageously, at least one solids outlet has a hexagonal cross section at least on the inside. An advantage of this embodiment is a higher solids throughput compared to a rectangular cross section.

Patent Office [0010] At least one solids outlet expediently has at least on the inside a geometric arrangement of flat surfaces on which flat wear protection elements can be attached. An advantage of this embodiment is that plane-level wear protection elements can be attached to the inside of a solids outlet without additional shaped elements.
The use of flat wear protection elements makes it possible to cut out suitable shapes from flat starting material, for example ceramic, hard metal or minerals, and to line the solids outlets without joints. If different areas of wear are exposed to greater wear, it is possible according to the invention to line even areas adjacent to one another with corresponding wear protection plates and, if necessary, to selectively replace them at different times without replacing all other wear protection elements which have not yet been adequately worn.
A preferred embodiment of the present invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawings.

Figure 1 shows a schematic oblique view of an assembly 100 of a screening machine with six screen decks arranged in the screen housing (not shown in the picture) with inclined downward collecting shafts 125 with their covers 120 and solids outlets 130. The sieved solids flow flows from the collecting shafts 125 in the solid outlets 130 that bend vertically downward. In the embodiment shown, the solid outlets 130 have a hexagonal cross section 140 with flat inner surfaces 150 and a circular or round connecting device 160.
With the round connection device 160, hose elements or pipes, not shown here, can be reliably connected. Wear-protection elements or wear-protection plates can be attached to the plane-level inner surfaces 150. The assembly 100 can be attached to a chassis or housing of the screening machine (not shown here) by means of a mounting frame 110, 115.
Figure 2 shows a schematic plan view of an assembly 200 of a screening machine, which has six collecting shafts 225 tapering downwards and tapering in the plan view. The collecting shafts 225 open into vertical solids outlets 230, which are designated with the letters BG. The vertical solids outlets 230 with the letters BG are arranged in a horizontal grid with the distances Ci, c 2 and bi-b 4 for constructional reasons. In the embodiment shown, the solids outlets 230 have a hexagonal cross section 240 with flat inner surfaces 250 and a circular or round connection device 260. With the round connection device 260, hose elements or pipes, not shown here, can be reliably connected.
[0019] Flat-level wear protection elements or wear protection plates 255 can be attached to the plane-level inner surfaces 250. In the schematic illustration, only one wear protection plate 255 is shown as an example. All of the inner surfaces 250 or at least those inner surfaces 250 on which the solid stream predominantly strikes are expediently equipped with wear protection plates 255.
An advantage of the invention is that planar wear protection plates 255 made of ceramic, mineral or hard metal material can be used and can be attached to the planar inner surfaces 250 without additional complicated molded parts, for example by gluing or screwing. A detachable connection technique is advantageously selected so that the wear protection plates 255 can be replaced. The assembly 200 can be attached to a chassis or housing of the screening machine (not shown here) by means of a mounting frame 210, 215 with the dimensions ai, a 2 .
